Made it to Cairo

Greetings from Cairo!
I'm excited to be here, extremly tired and looking forward to sleeping in my board bed, even though it's about like being on the floor only raised up. We staying in the Pension Roma which certainly isn't fancy but it's quaint and convenient.
Must go back to May 23. Kyle Quentin Craig was born at 9:330 AM. Mommy Jasmine and baby (as well as sister, Alana and daddy, Jesse) are all doing fine. I even got to visit the hospital and hold him before I left for the airport.
About the airport, I was taking the Transbridge Bus from JFK, which I said left Doylestown at 3:00
Around 1:15 Ken checked the internet bus schedule and there is no 3:00 bus. I should have taken the one at 11 something. So...Ken drove me to JFK. Thank you Ken. Actually it was nice to have that time with him.
Cairo is amazing; all differents shades of sand. Ride in from the airport was interesting, I wish I'd know what things were and feel bad we won't be here longer.
Our plans are all set. Tomorrow we're up at 6:15, breakfast at 7 and then with loaded van/bus we're off to the American Embassy to sign away our counsular rights because we're going to Gaza. It doesn't relly mean much and we get to pay them $30.
We then leave directly from the embassy for Al Alrish where we'll spend the night. It's about a six hour drive.
We leave for the border crossing Tuesday morning. There doesn't seem to be a pattern as to who crosses and who's denied entry. The British doctors have yet to get in. Yesterday they tried going in with a group of over 100 Italian peace makers and were taken off the bus while the Italians went on to Gaza. The group of Canadians have been turned away three or four times. It's crazy!
I do think Felice has done all she can to make getting into Gaza possible. Now if the Egyptians will just see fit to let us cross over.
It's very late and I'm way to tired. Have made a list of things I should have included with this post and will try to get it written tomorrow.
